Concrete is a fiber-reinforced material comprised of granite stone powder, cement, natural jute fibers and water. Although not considered a defect, non-structural hairline cracks are possible as a result of shrinkage and the natural curing process. Concrete should be coated with Paraffin wax on a regular basis to ensure finish is protected over time.
