The Berenson Lantern is a contradiction in so many ways. The angular profile is sharp and clean, while the patterning on the smoky quartz panels that make up its shade is randomly organic. The frame and hardware are made of wrought iron that has been treated to a silver leaf finish, the tone of the metal echoing the pale tones in the quartz. The subtle flair in size as the lantern rises toward the chain makes this luminary feel decidedly modern.
