The Samson Stool/Side Table by Noir emphasizes natural, simple and classic design. Noir has been designing, building and importing a very unique, but ever growing collection of home furnishings for more than 10 years.

Using the traditional Japanese technique of Yakisugi, this wood stool has a charred, then sealed surface that amplifies the woodgrain, and adds a subtle, crystaline-like sparkle.

Noir products are hand finished and created with a concentrated effort toward environmental sustainability. Variations could occur and are not considered as product defects.

We still build our furniture the old fashioned way using high quality and properly dried solid wood. "We select lumber from well-known suppliers, who guarantee their drying process specifically for export. On larger panels and backs, we use ply wood to minimize the risk of shrinking or even cracking. All finishes are hand applied and sanded repeatedly, then finished off with a lacquer top coat or wax."
