Carved in India from solid marble, the Trinidad Bowl is shaped by a lobed geometry that recalls desert basins formed by erosion—where water gathers briefly in pooled depressions—wadi basins and salt-flat hollows—before the land reclaims it. The piece’s contours are shaped by the same quiet logic that defines wadi pools and temporary reservoirs. Elevated on an integrated base, the bowl holds a low, grounded stance. Offered in red and green Katni marble, each piece reveals natural veining and tonal variation unique to the stone. Trinidad is a functional vessel that reflects how landscape gathers and releases water, shaped by contour, gravity, and time.
