The Monaco Chosen for its deep grain and ethereal texture, the Cape Lilac Mahogany on our Monaco Arm Chair is a truly special material. Stained in a limed dark gray, natural or driftwood color, the grain of the wood shines. A distant cousin to the Alexa Chair, the Monaco’s shape is derived from ancient Klismos chairs of Greece but also has notes of Art Deco influence. The slightly flared, hand-carved legs add a touch of elegance and refinement. The curved back is striking from all angles—and allows the seat to be nestled nicely under any dining table or desk. Each detail of the Monaco is carefully considered. The back is carved by hand for subtle shaping while the basket weave-patterned caning is hand woven in our factories, strand by strand. The linen drop-in seat is easily reupholstered. The result is comfortable without being overly large and perfectly suitable as a desk chair to work from home or dotted around a curved dining table (as it has no trouble with the apron of a desk or table).

Curbside Delivery:
Item will be brought to driveway or curb. Signature required. Carrier will contact for an appointment time. Select White Glove if wanting to upgrade to inside delivery/set up for additional charge.
Threshold Delivery:
Delivered to first door or dry area. Signature required. Carrier will contact for an appointment time. Select White Glove if wanting to upgrade to inside delivery/set up for additional charge.
White Glove Delivery:
Item will be delivered and carried to a room of choice, assembled (if needed), and all packaging removed. Signature required. Carrier will contact for an appointment time.

We recommend this as the safest option for all large furniture purchases.The curbside carrier will contact you for an appointment, once the item is in their hands. Due to legal aspects of curbside delivery, the carrier is not allowed to bring the item up to your home. Please inspect all packaging for damage prior to signing. If packaging is damaged or worn, please open and inspect your item, prior to signing. Please refuse if the item is damaged. In certain cases, curbside shipping will be an upcharge. This is often due to weight and/or size of the product, or address location.

Your Item will be delivered to the first door or dry area of your address and signature will be required. For item to be carried into your home, assembled (if needed), please select the White Glove Delivery option. We recommend this as the safest option for all large furniture purchases.The threshold carrier will contact you for an appointment, once the item is in their hands. Due to legal aspects of threshold delivery, the carrier is not allowed to enter your home. Please inspect all packaging for damage prior to signing. If packaging is damaged or worn, please open and inspect your item, prior to signing. Please refuse if the item is damaged. In certain cases, threshold shipping will be an upcharge as it exceeds the terms of Free Shipping.
White Glove Delivery:
Your item will be delivered and carried to a room of your choice, assembled (if needed), and all packaging removed.White glove delivery can often delay shipping time but is also the safest and easiest way to avoid problems with your item. You will be contacted by the white glove carrier, once the item is with them, to set an appointment for delivery. We recommend White Glove delivery to ensure safety and ease of product delivery concerning large furniture items. In most cases this will be an upcharge to the customer, as the cost often exceeds what is to be determined by Free Shipping. Please refuse if the item is damaged, unless willing to accept repair of the damage from the carrier.
