Dixter Chandelier

The leaves on the Dixter Brass Chandelier that seem to be floating in air are made of aluminum in an antique brass finish—their shapes inspired by ones on the teak trees that proliferate in India. The broadness of the leaves on the species of tree is ideal for covering the six bulbs so that the illumination reflects off them to create a golden glow. A finely-wrought design detail is the thinness of the metal, the impression that each piece of the material is veined and pliable like its botanical counterpart, and the irregular edges that provide the gold chandelier with an artisanal feel.
