Momiji Statue

The Momiji Statue takes the form of a Japanese maple bonsai, its hand-cast trunk twisting upward in a silhouette shaped by age and weather. The trunk is highlighted along its textured bark, while maple leaves finished in gold leaf gather along the branches, their serrated edges catching the light. A polished Carrara marble base grounds the composition, and a felted bottom protects the surface below. Display the Momiji Statue on a mantel or foyer table, or in a living room or library, where its sweeping form brings poetic character to a considered arrangement.
