Parchment Reverie Framed Silk Panel Pair

The Parchment Reverie Framed Silk Panel Pair is a hand-painted chinoiserie diptych on a warm brown silk ground, with two flowering branches continuing from the left panel into the right. The left panel rises through a flowering tree of pink camellias, with small songbirds in flight and at its base. In the right panel, a woven basket of blossoms hangs from a bough, an unexpected detail above a pair of long-tailed pheasants, a garden rock, and peonies. Butterflies drift across both panels.

Each panel is individually framed in Champagne Nickel-finished metal, which lightens the edges of the textured brown silk. Hung side by side so the branches align, the pair works on an open wall or above a console or sofa in a living room, dining room, or bedroom.
