Pears Statue (Set of 2)

The Pears Statue Set of 2 brings together two rounded fruit forms hand-cast in metal, each topped with a short stem and a pair of veined leaves. Mottled patches of warm gold break across the dark bronze finish, an irregular pattern that varies from one casting to the next. The two differ slightly in shape, one fuller and rounder, the other slimmer with its leaves spread wide, giving the pair a natural relationship when displayed together. A felted pad under each pear protects the surface below. Arranged on a dining table, console, or sideboard, the Pears Statue Set of 2 adds a painterly note: a still life that never spoils.
