Sherpa Bowl

The Sherpa Bowl sets a rounded vessel on two sturdy legs, each ending in a bare foot with toes carefully defined. Finished all over in gold leaf, the bowl sits canted slightly forward, giving the piece a figurative, faintly comic presence, as though the vessel had found its footing and decided to stay.

Felted pads underneath each foot protect the surface below. Sized for rings, keys, or small treasures, the Sherpa Bowl works on a vanity in the bedroom, a desk in the study, or a bar cart in the living room, where it tends to start a conversation.
